Okay, then you were trying to be an ******* and succeeded. It doesn't matter that you were ironically parodying a non-existent person who really believed in the things that you falsely claimed to believe.

"Hey Hitler, why did you go and murder six million Jews?"
"I was ironically making a point that if some other person murdered six million Jews then it would be a bad thing."

No, obviously you are not as bad as Hitler. Yes, you are just as dumb as my fictitious ironic Hitler.

Maybe you just need to stop being so PC and whiny.

Yes, clearly I am the worst person in this thread, as opposed to the guy who is bragging about "ironically" making retarded veteran jokes

That jerk could plausibly claim then, that their politically incorrect statement has some truth to "veterans are dumb."
Gee, maybe they're poor and figured joining the army and eventually getting a college scholarship was better than working at McDonalds?

If you want to troll conservatives maybe you should just make fun of religion... since at least 99.9% of the world's religions are made up bull****.

Exactly. Politically incorrect statements/jokes are often based on ignorance, whatever the topic/issue is.

A lesson I've learnt, relearnt and will learn again is that if I voice an opinion or tell a joke, there's a good chance someone will be offended. More and more I just keep silent.

You shouldn't call politically incorrect people "politically incorrect people" because that is offensive.

You are racist against my racism, which makes you the real racist!

I'm offended by your implication that you're offended with this.

Presumably for the same reason "politically correct" people are offended by things like bigotry.

Everyone has beliefs, many people are offended when there views are challenged.

An abortionist may be genuinely offended by the suggestion that abortion is morally wrong.

They disagree completely in their views on abortion.

I think you made a typo, which offends me.

Don Rickles to me is the best example. Almost every joke he makes is politically incorrect. But I have always found him hilarious. I don't consider him offensive at all. He makes fun of EVERYONE equally, even himself. People pay extra money or get to his shows early so they can be in the front row and more likely to get picked on during the show.

But there are people that consider him offensive or if they told some of the jokes he did, people would respond very negatively.
Sometimes people should just lighten up and laugh along.

But granted, you could always tell that he wasn't being hateful. He was always able to carry it off. But he isn't as popular anymore because of this.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

This thread delivered. It's always fun to see inept trolls try to pass themselves off as social justice warriors.
The dogmas of the quiet past, are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty…we will be remembered in spite of ourselves… The fiery trial through which we pass, will light us down, in honor or dishonor, to the last generation… We shall nobly save, or meanly lose, the last best hope of earth.

Isn't that normal for people with Alzheimers - they remember the oldies best
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
