Why has America stopped winning wars?

Oh yeah, Bush did a great job with Iraq and Afghanistan.

I would have invested in the country more, especially in the beginning, but he did better than Obama. It had to be a long run strategy.

This assumes that the US would have borrowed all of that money and spent on something else had the war not been in progress. Do you think Bush would have gotten away with that?

Do you think the Federal Reserve would have done exactly the same thing if Bush hadn't been borrowing all of that money? If the central bank is able to meet its target then fiscal policy doesn't make much of a difference.

They actually did find a lot of chemical weapons in Iraq, which are now in danger of (or have already) fallen into the hands of ISIS as they were apparently never properly disposed. But they didn't find nuclear weapons, or bioweapons.
