      • It seems the hardcore left wing platform is much stronger than initially anticipated.
They're not giving up. It's now a clear mandate for euroexit.

          So is your face.

Fact is, he got a "clear mandate", twice , in less than 7 months and still he won't put his (borrowed) money where his mouth is.

And this was the man that would solve it all? Underwhelming, even for a Greek.

            • The Greek people will solve nothing. They want to stay in the Euro but don't want to held accountable for the consequences.

But no worries, the Germans will solve it for you.

No go and chew on some Danish feta...

                  • Early elections and a breakaway of the left wing of the ruling party. So will Greek people vote for stupid fantasies again or has reality finally hit them?

no; hopefully they'll vote against the bailout.

                      • With any luck, they will go back to the Drachma. After massive devaluations, I'll be able to pick up some huge bargains. I've sent in a note to Stephen Schwartzman to advise him accordingly.

                        • You won't even get the chance.

                          Which is rather curious.
Lots of people are using this as a discouragmenet.

They say that the rich ****s that got their money abroad will come back after the drachma and start buying.

Isn't that what (they say) is needed?

                          Investments?

                          Bunch of illogical clowns.

                          • plus in the wake of any currency change, there'd be strict capital controls, both for inflows and outflows.
