So how about another game, kind of a mix between survivor and Hunger Games.
We start a new thread. Anybody that posts in it is Officially playing.
After a set time frame, and there are enough players. We vote once a day to remove somebody from the thread. The voting can be done in the thread, or we can have an outside person collect PM's. So every day, somebody is thrown out of the thread and can not vote until the end. When it gets down to just two people, only the people knocked out can vote. Or something else along these lines. I'm open to suggestions.
    That could be fun.

I like the idea of people forming secret or not so secret teams... it does indeed sound like it could be fun.
      Anybody with any other ideas?

One more stolen concept. To keep it from being a straight numbers game (which can become quite boring and predictable)
Devise a way to assign a temporary immunity type thing (either randomly or by skill or other method) that you have the option to play after the vote (if secret) that could screw up what might look like and auto vote, or you could use it to transfer votes for 'X' instead of someone else.
Just something on top of regular voting so it's not so predictable.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

That could be cool. Maybe 2 cards you can play over the course of the game, one that deflects any votes for you that round back onto the ones sending them, and one where you can deflect votes aimed at you onto someone else of your choosing.

Getting the most "Thanks" on a post in the thread for a day might be a good immunity idol.

Great concept but execution might be a bit predictable. i.e. can't imagine a poster like Kid getting any thanks on a post.

One thing that would be important is setting the time frame. If the game is paced to quickly it will just become a number game without much plotting or strat.
To slow, and people get bored.

I think the game I played was one or two votes per week

And we'd need someone on DL watch.

From experience I can tell you that a post count minimum would not be sufficient to weed them all out.
But Alas I'm not allowed access to some of the tools required.
Tracking down the scums brings back fond memories.

Either could be doable. Once a week might be best to maximize strategyzing. (sp)
