Apparently the majority of coffee drinkers use creamer:

It's not necessarily a matter of odor or flavor strength. Bell peppers don't have a very strong flavor, but I dislike it. Meanwhile, I can leave the teabag in for half an hour and still enjoy the taste. Some things just offend me and I'm not clear on why. Coffee isn't really offensive, odor-wise; I'm just happy with lower-caffeine tea, so I let it be. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try it so I have an option in our coffee-obsessed society, but it might be kind of mean to my wife. She used to love the stuff, before she discovered caffeine was a migraine trigger.

I started using a coffee press in the past six months because I find very quick and easy compared to the normal filter machines.

At home, we have a press machine, a Moka pot, and more recently a Nespresso machine, all for the wife.

Preferably dissolved in hot water, but sometimes I just eat it straight out of the jar (instant granules that is).

Stove-top espresso, strong, black, no sugar. I like Turkish too.

Too much coffee generally makes me angry. Most days I have too much coffee.

French coffee is regular coffee? Whatever has the bloody French to do with filter?

If you want filter you usually say french or you can say filter, it's the same.

                Tea is another league.
But the fun part there is to get the flavours, like forest fruits, apple/cinamon, etc

And then there's the soothing kind of beverages like tilio (tilia?) which is excellent if you want to drink something at night, and you don't want it to be alcohol, and you don't want cafeine.
Tilio and forest honey and mmmmmmm

yes it does sound like oooold farts.
                but it's good

I tried drinking coffee at work last summer. In order to make it more palatable I eventually added a packet of hot chocolate, along with cream and sugar. I realized fairly quickly that it wasn't the coffee I liked, it was the hot chocolate, and at that point I gave up on it.

Coffee is definitely an acquired taste especially if you start out on terrible institutional java.
What kept me cOming back for more was the caffeine kick, pure and simple. It is only in old age where I distinguish between good and bad coffee and seek out more interesting tastes. Oh, did I mention the caffeine kick?

The only equivalent caffeine kicks taste even more "like ****" to average palates - ie, energy drinks.

(though I really enjoy the taste of good coffee - I can't really stomach the mass produced Folgers / Maxwell House junk)

Yeah, I had never had an energy drink and they were giving them out by our office so I grabbed one and tried it. Besides being really awful, I thought I was going to have a heart attack.
Needless to say that was the last time I tried one of them.

I just drink coke or Dr. Pepper to get my caffeine fix. By the way, breaking caffeine addiction is really easy. I've gone through it several times. Just take some motrin and don't puss out for 24 hours and bam, addiction broken.

Someone told me the reason it happens is that caffeine constricts blood vessels, and so it constricts brain blood vessels, so your brain rearranges a bit in response to the constriction. So when you kick the caffeine habit you're just enduring your brain returning to position when the blood vessels dilate. I honestly have no idea if this is true but it is consistent with my observations at least.

Yeah when I was younger I gave up smoking all the time. It was easy.
