    Did u hire the realtor already? If not, Redfin offers a substantial commission refund. Make sure you have a good home inspector. Make sure your purchase money has been moved to cash when you make the offer.

          Yes. The realtor worked with my sister when she moved and is working with my mom now. There's an existing relationship.

              Yeah, the realtor probably won't try to screw me because she still has to find a house for my mom, who has a bigger than I do.

              Or at the very least, we will all get screwed as a family
