Mined salt is so pure because different salts have different solubilities, and that effects the way salts are deposited when a sea dries. As the concetrations go up, the salts come out of solution as they reach and surpass their limit of solubility, and so are deposited in very pure layers; Carbonates are among the first, CaSO4 (aka Gypsum) not too long after, NaCl is somewhere toward the end. A very natural form of refining -- the most natural, in fact.

Sea salt has a higher content of
Calcium
Iron
magnesium
potassium
zinc
Unfortunately the quantities are just a tiny percentage of daily requirements so it really doesn't help that much.
But my daughter has a masters in nutrition and says that despite it being so little, it's still better.
I paid a lot of money to get that opinion so I'm sticking with it.It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

who/what is a Threlin?“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”
― C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man
