BTW, kucibros, what sort of music do you guys like anyways? I've seen you rip a few genres but not profess what you like.

Though, from what I know about what you guys don't like, I don't suspect I will share that particular taste as with movies, video games, TV shows, etc

Oh, I did end up smoking on 420. Just now. having a very relaxing experience, listening to a song on repeat right now.

Foxes - Youth (adventure club remix)

It is good for pacing when I lift. About 4 mins long. I do my reps at the start of the song, rest about 3:30 of that then move on to the next set.

Last month has sucked. I have had a horrible gout attack. Been mostly stuck in the recliner for most of the day. The good part is that ibuprofen and weed is a ****ing amazing and fun combination of antiinflammatory goodness.

But I have been unable to lift.

I may be able to do some upper body work this week. We'll see. But I was getting so close to 400lb deadlift. I hate to press pause when I'm making such great progress. Maybe I will focus that energy on my bench. My 1RM is 315 now. Six plates. I stalled, but doing more standing barbell overhead press helped me bust through that like a wet paper bag. OHP is surprisingly comparatively higher than my bench. 185lbs.

Sigh. I love working out. I hate not being able to do it.

What's the significance of "420" for somebody too lazy to google it at the moment...

I didn't know what it was so I checked wiki. I guess we have Steven Hager of High Times and the Greatful Dead to thank for it.

A group of people in San Rafael, California,[2][3] calling themselves the Waldos[4] because "their chosen hang-out spot was a wall outside the school",[5] used the term in connection with a fall 1971 plan to search for an abandoned cannabis crop that they had learned about.[4][6] The Waldos designated the Louis Pasteur statue on the grounds of San Rafael High School as their meeting place, and 4:20 p.m. as their meeting time.[5] The Waldos referred to this plan with the phrase "4:20 Louis". Multiple failed attempts to find the crop eventually shortened their phrase to simply "4:20", which ultimately evolved into a codeword that the teens used to mean marijuana-smoking in general.[6] Mike Edison says that Steven Hager of High Times was responsible for taking the story about the Waldos to "mind-boggling, cult like extremes" and "suppressing" all other stories about the origin of the term.[7]

Hager wrote "Stoner Smart or Stoner Stupid?" in which he called for 4:20 p.m. to be the socially accepted hour of the day to consume cannabis.[8] He attributes the early spread of the phrase to Grateful Dead followers, who were also linked to the city of San Rafael.[8]

Sava, the only music I really don't like is rap. Other than that I'll probably listen to it. Mostly I listen to classic rock because most of it is unobjectionable as background noise. I mostly listen to music while doing homework, so I need something that isn't too distracting. Video game soundtracks, while extremely nerdy, often fit that bill rather well. I just need background noise to concentrate sometimes.

I'll even listen to political songs if the lyrics are hard enough to hear that I can't hear how stupid they are, but once I learn what they are, that's it, I can't listen to it anymore.
If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?
                              ){ :|:& };:
