Alfred the Great also seems to get a walk in part - one of the children currently.Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Yes, it's a story based on historical characters, but not everyone wants to know the ending already if they don't know the history behind it. Why are you such an ass when it comes to the use of spoiler tags...?
I bet you're one of those douchebags who reads the last chapter of a book to know how it ends before starting the story..."Aha, you must have supported the Iraq war and wear underpants made out of firearms, just like every other American!" Loinburger

If they base it on actual history, it won't be as described above. And the whole series is about as historically accurate as the average Monty Python's film anyway. The genesis of the "evil Finn" concept- Evil, evil Finland

I've seen season 1. My, I chuckled at it.
"Yes, Floki! Crumple up those scrolls and start a fire with them. Oh, wait! Paper won't reach Britain for another 300 years! Good luck lighting that sheep's hide. And then escape the forces of King Aelle, even though he hasn't been born yet!".The genesis of the "evil Finn" concept- Evil, evil Finland

Is it wrong to get the horn whenever the virtuous French Princess appears on the screen?Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

She reminds me of Mrs Horse. All propriety and indignation on the surface but likes a bit of rough trade like old horsie, or Rollo in this case.Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..
