    What lies, Oerdin?

That you frequently claim stuff as fact when you don't have a shred of evidence? And that usually when the facts do come out, you're proved wrong?

You never provide factual links to back yourself up, or when you do, they're still wrong or - hilariously - support the opposite to that which you're trying to prove!

See, when I make wild speculations to take the piss out of you, more often than not, they seem to be right:

Tunisia museum gunmen went to Libya for weapons training

The two gunmen who massacred 21 people in a bloody attack on a museum in Tunis this week were trained by militants in Libya, where Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant(Isil) is establishing a growing presence.

The terrorists slipped across the Tunisian border illegally in December and received weapons training in Libya, said Rafik Chelli, the secretary of state for security, on Friday.
Whichever group was behind Wednesday’s attack, it has raised fears about the spread of Islamic extremism from Libyainto the one country that emerged as a secular democracy from the Arab Spring.
His family told Reuters he had been a normal, moderate young man who enjoyed dancing and the latest fashions until he was indoctrinated with radical beliefs by imams at a local mosque.

There he listened to ultraconservative Salafists give talks on jihad in Syria and Libya.
So again, thank you everyone for helping to topple Gaddafi

I even have my own CNN link: http://www.cnn.com/2015/03/20/africa...museum-attack/

      Washington Post: http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/...759_story.html

      Etc...

Basically the US is virtually single-handedly responsible for the inception of IS (via Al Qaeda), by training and supporting the Mujahadeen forces in Afghanistan (including Bin Laden) against the Soviets.

IS most likely wouldn't even exist without the US toppling of Saddam; allowing Al Qaeda to train its forces by killing US soldiers; the ensuing power vacuum as the US retreated; Helping to topple Gaddafi in Libya; destabilising (and now supporting ) Assad in Syria; destabilising the Warlords of Somalia and then bugging out of Mogadishu to create a power vacuum there; and now Somalia #2 in Yemen as the US forces flee there, with their work done - the destabilisation of Yemen!

One would almost think that the US had spent trillions of dollars and got thousands of its soldiers killed - hundreds of thousands injured - on purpose - so successful has it's campaign to destroy stable secular governments across the Middle East and install Islamist extremists has become...!?

Seriously, has there ever been a US foreign policy that has ever so spectacularly back-fired from its avowed objective!!?

You're so simple-minded to have come up with that inference, brainiac...

Of course not, but the US is really good at smashing stuff up and not picking up the pieces afterwards.

Virtually all the troubles in the Middle East are borne out of lines drawn in the sand, and the West's efforts to maintain them for their own benefits, and not those of the people in those countries...

Maybe one of the many reasons Gaddafi was butthurt with the West and Israel in particular, was this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libyan_...nes_Flight_114

I must admit, I'd never heard of that until now...

I assume from your previous posts that you're another right-wing idiot with nothing of real substance to bring to the party?

I have learned, when we went in to topple Saddam I was ambivalent. I wasn't really in favor or really against, I could understand the reason to attack our 'enemy' (Which was our enemy because of GW1) but didn't see it as necessary. Pragmatically it seemed like an OK decision (as a Christian I opposed it, but I generally act politically based on pragmatic reasons rather than religious ones).

After the experience of the last decade, both under Bush and Obama, I now oppose unnecessary war in all cases for pragmatic reasons.

As a Christian, apart from everything else, you must be deeply saddened by the rampant murder and persecution of the sizeable Christian minorities in these countries now that those that would seek to do so can operate with impunity in the anarchy these regime destructions (they're not changes!) have created...

Imagine, the US as a Christian nation, is directly responsible for creating the very conditions to allow this to happen.

Earlier I faulted GW2 on GW1.... it was GW1 which I associated with the primary fault (assuming competent US leadership).

Now I am not sure. Each is a primary mistake I think and does not necessitate other mistakes.
