Depends what you mean by rape culture. Given that the university in question had just had the worst record for sexual assaults in the state, it was a pretty questionable venue to start talking about how women aren't at serious risk of sexual assault.

I'm not saying that liberals don't rape, but to me it'd be strange if a super liberal campus was more susceptible to rape or sexual assault than other, more conservative, colleges or areas of Oregon.

Conservatives have abstinence only sex ed and haven't figured out how sex works by the time they're in college. College Republicans want to rape women but aren't sure how to go about it.
