  • Greece has had the largest fiscal adjastement of any country in peace time period and lost 25% of its GDP due to ****ed up policies that simply don't work.
27% unemployment, overtaxation and you still want money?

    Of course they are none.
Still, all the hupla is about the july compromise (or lack of)

Dinner's opinion is to do what exactly?

    Probably more of the same.

    That's the definition of insanity.

Or he's pushing for a grexit, so that all Europe can go FUBAR.

Grexit might be unavoidable in the end, but actively wanting it while saying that you want what's good for europe and greece, is just crazy.

But then again you are just a little cluless racist bastard.

Impossible to do that. It's already been done and produced not only vast social pain but also zero results.

          Do you see anyone begging?

          It's simple.

Anymore societal destruction will simply not take place.

          • So while you shut the **** up let me educate you politely

In July there will be a compromise that will guarantee that there are no more pension cuts, and increase of minimum wage in due time, repopulating hospitals and other public facilities and a push over of the debt while at the same time a 30 to 40 bill. plan of current debt refinancing.

You can go and cry now

Europe will be just fine. And what is more important Greece will be a lot better with an independent monetary policy. Of course all the positives from increased aggregate demand can be wiped out by the many ridiculous populist and communist policies that your government can come up with.
If you don't do some crazy stuff you will be at single digit unemployment and have the highest growth rate in Europe within two years of adopting the drahma again. (It's very likely that you will make lots of bad policy choices though.)

                            It's a human thing unfortunately.
The Germans faced with a similar situation in the past (massive unemployment, big debt, recession and deflation) did the exact same mistake as the Greeks today. They voted for a radical fringe party who's bad policy choices ultimately led to the ruin of the country.

                              • Sure, but I doubt Siriza will do much better than the NSDAP did in Germany 80 years ago.

(They will probably do better as in they will probably not kill millions or start any wars, but on the economic front they will certainly mess things up.)
