Any website the posts tons of articles daily is going to have errors (don't tell me you haven't noticed the 'corrections' sections in newspapers). If one of your pet sites had an error, you'd wave it away.

The author likely confused statements about potentially building a bridge (http://www.theguardian.com/world/1999/jun/19/israel) with a bridge actually being built.

Jon is right. Vox is left but generally good.

“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Correction: The "no" in the last post should have been "lots of".

Maybe not the stated intent, but it's always been a ruse of the old Lords of the feudal system to maintain their privileged position.

Re: Zelda, I once read a review on GameFAQs describing Twilight Princess as "What OOT should have been." That is, it's basically Ocarina, but with properly tight controls and camera, better save options, etc. I think that's fair. I remember when I stopped playing Ocarina: I was in the Gerudo fortress, rescuing the carpenters, and I got in a fight with one of the warrior women. It was going pretty well until the camera got stuck behind a wall, and by the time I wiggled the visibility back she'd already used her take-you-captive move. Around that point I had to quit, so I saved and shut down--then remembered that would put me back in Link's forest house, and I'd have to schlep back to the fortress (after acquiring more arrows, which I'd run drastically low on while shooting sentries). That was when I said to hell with it.

The actual additions to TP's gameplay weren't that impressive. The option to Spider-man it with dual clawshots was fun--when you finally got it. The sword techniques added a minor but fun twist to combat. Beyond that, err . . . it's basically OOT with the time-travel removed and the frustrating mechanics tweaked. Being stuck bug-hunting as a wolf was just annoying, and once I got the ability to switch I only ever used it again to see Poes or kill the critters who fell from the teleporters. Wolf-form simply didn't add anything substantial to gameplay. OOH I CAN DIG IN RANDOM SPOTS FOR TRIVIAL AMOUNTS OF TREASURE!

You realize getting back to gerudo desert from temple of time/link's house is literally about 2 or 3 minutes, max, if you are slow? There is even a map if you get lost.

Also yes I agree the wolf was useless outside the twilight sections, except for in the Arbiter's Grounds dungeon.

Yeah, but after you've humped it back to where you were supposed to be dozens of times--a sort of penalty for daring to save and quit--it gets really aggravating.

EDIT: To be fair to TP, the ball and chain was a fun improvement on the boring old hammer. But it's all little tweaks like that, nothing as fundamentally different as they tried in MM or WW. Both of which I disliked, so there's something to be said for sticking to the tried-and-true.

                      I don't weep for overtaxed upper-class whiteys
do you shed any tears for the people unemployed by your love of taxes?

do you also propose the same high taxes for non-whiteys?

Yes, I like to think about their misery and laugh during my daily puppy-stomp. However, since this thread is about Zelda now, I suggest you somehow introduce that general flavor to your libertarianism for the time being. Suitable topics include:

-The inevitable hyperinflation of the rupee in a world where any bum can find twenty bucks just digging around in a patch of tall grass.
-The need for ready access to self-defense, without having to go through a dungeon and whack a mini-boss for a stupid boomerang.
-Excessive militarism at Hyrule Castle; why do they need all those idle guards?
-Government waste at Hyrule Castle; it's always bigger than the actual city, with few of the rooms in evident use.

Tax the rich, feed the poor
'til there are no rich no more

I never got a job from a poor person

But you never got a blowjob from a rich person, either. Ask yourself: which kind of job do I enjoy more?
