    True.

The space of Civ is really huge, but with a few basic heuristics you can eliminate really huge sectors of that space.
... still leaving an extremely huge space compared to Go.

Of course there's going to be a huge space... It's Starships after all.

Civ and WoW are my crack... just one... more... turn...

They lost we with Civ V, or you could say Civ Rev *(I even bought that one?!? ), when thinking about it, IV was a fluke, other than that, everything else after Brian left went wrong for both Sid and Brian.

At least there is still IV + mods to replay when I feel like it.

IMHO Civ V with all EPs has become a nice game ... and I also don´t dislike Civ BE.
As for Civ IV vs. Civ V ... they are just different ... both have things to like and dislike.

It is like a comparison between The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 ... while Sims 2 in many aspects can be considered to be the best Sims overall, Sims 3 still has a lot of impotant things that Sims 2 is missing ... making them both worthwhile games

Though Sims 4... can we say cash grab?

I´d call it a combination of a failed Sims MMO-Project (called Sims Olympus) and a subsequent lack of time to program a "real" Sims engine for Sims 4, when the MMO-Project failed (forcing them to reuse the (trimmed down, compared to the other Sims) Olympus engine for Sims 4)

But yes, definitely nothing that (at least currently) would be worth to be mentioned in the same breath as Sims 3 or Sims 2
(and surely not worth the full price that Origin wants us to pay for it)

I'm downloading it now, but I'm caught up I a game of Rome Total War 2 so it may be awhile before I get around to playing it.

I'm mostly playing and covering Elite: Dangerous but here is part 1 of my first look at Sid Meier's Starships which is designed to help people quickly get up to speed on what it's all about.

Part 2, Hutama gets a thrashing.

                          Well, I just lost.

Seems I can't just be a peacenik or else some other faction will go around capturing places until they have the requisite number of wonders to win. Interesting.

                              I played a Civ5 game this weekend.

                              It was good.

I won and was the strongest (With a huge tech lead), I could have won most any way at the end.

But I was only playing Prince or King?

So far, the game reviews on steam is not that great and not that bad..

Maybe I'll pass on this one.
