History was made this past weekend in Buenos Aires when an appeals court ruled that an orangutan held in a zoo is a nonhuman person unlawfully deprived of its right to bodily autonomy.

    ...

Sandra will now be freed from the zoo and transfered to a sanctuary.

Apparently they asked Sandra where she wanted to go, and she shat on her hand and threw that **** in the exact direction of the sanctuary they were planning on taking her to!

Argentina should concentrate less on apes getting human rights and more on paying their bills on time.

You can't have it both ways. If you're going to start threads about ****, be expected to have other **** references be referred to as SAVAesc.

?? Since when has that been a prerequisite for paying taxes?

Maybe someone gets to claim it as a dependent. (Is that something that makes sense outside of the US tax system?)

So does it mean that Sandra as a nonhuman person, if she falls in love with a human, can legally marry him?

Yes! You can finally marry your dog! I always supported gay marriage in the hopes that it would lead to canine marriage, but now I see I should have supported PETA instead.
