I remember when you had buy Maseratis in pairs (to make sure you had a ready supply of spare parts).

There's a Maserati dealership about 2 miles from my apartment which is odd cause I didn't realize anyone in Rochester could afford them.

The Tysons Galleria mall (in, well, tysons obviously) has Rolls Royces on display for lease. God I ****ing hate that mall. There isn't a single store that sells anything useful. Good restaurants there though.

Brand names which go out of business tend to lose value very quickly so you can pick up a 2011 Saab 9-3 turbo awd for like $15k.

Did Saab go out of business?

Yep, got dumped by GM during the bankruptcy, sort of saved for a year by a Dutch investor, but went bankrupt. A Chinese group bought the assets but felt cheated as officially most of its assets belonged to GM and were only licensed to Saab and GM has refused to extend the license to the Chinese as the Chinese normally steal everything. Supposedly some production has been restarted but with Chinese sourced drive trains.

Your sense of financial acumen is astonishing.

Anyway, I bought my fully loaded Fusion hybrid new for less than $35k if you want something that looks vaguely executive-y.

Already bought a car, went with a used CTS. Figure I will drive it <1 day a week for daily commute, plus a few times a year for longer drives with family.
