How do I ****ing get the AI to surrender? Sieging capitals is nigh impossible. Brazil and India are double-teaming me; they captured one of my cities and I took it back then pushed the lines all the way up to their capital cities whereupon their rocket barrages wrecked my **** and I had to pull back a few tiles. Now I'm sitting around giving and taking shots with their airplanes slowly falling behind in score and NOBODY WILL ****ING MAKE PEACE.
Welcome to the real world, dude.

"Capitalism ho!"
I find the Ranger line (at least to Gunners, but better to higher level) very useful for taking cities. You can move some meat shields in first and follow up with Gunners who can move in and fire the same turn. Then you just need at least one melee to survive. If the terrain is funneling you though it can be a real meat grinder.
Or Affinity 4 uniques (Battlesuits, CNDRs, Xenoswarms) can get you a rolling invasion if you get to them fast enough. Rangers again for support really help though.
If they're coastal cities, Cruisers+ are very handy for bringing city defense down. If you have a city in range, Tacjets can help out a lot. First kill their air units, then take out any ranged units they have hiding behind the city. You can even do some city bombardment once you upgrade a couple times.

Combined Arms
Seige Units (they just suck)
I haven't attacked an enemy AI yet. but for dealing with aliens, i liked cruisers, ranged infantry, and tanks
Ok, initial thougts.. Alien AI is excellent, love how unpredicatable and powerful they are. Trade routes are OP, and having to keep resending them is annoying as balls. Like the expeditions but the quest system is a bit meh, too much like having your hand held. Finally, whoever designed the tech mesh needs a very hard slap upside the head, it's crazy busy, opens up far too fast and just overwhelms.
What does Guynemer think of the game? I will buy it if Guynemer likes it, since he has such high standards he thinks Simcity is trash, anything that he thinks is good must be incredible.
