I asked if she had a bruise on her chin. For that I'm being hunted down by an angry mob of white knights. Are you familiar with skepticism?

no. but i am familiar with scepticism, and i believe ken is too. here is an example:

          I don't hate women
i'm very sceptical about that statement.

Dude, there's a video of him punching her in the face for crying out loud. He's an NFL athlete, was he genuinely afraid that she was going to do him any genuine harm? Are you familiar with common decency?

You're making claims like they are certainties. Furthermore, you are making judgments based on you faulty reasoning.

We have a video of a conflict. Rice says he slapped her and she hit her head on the railing. It's appropriate to ask questions like "what were her injuries" and "can we tell from the video if his hand was closed in a fist or was it open."

When a professional athlete hits a woman hard enough to send her flying to the floor, yes I don't give a **** if his hand was open or closed.

Do you understand that being an athlete is not evidence?

It's evidence that he is capable of inflicting significant physical harm and also that he is under no personal danger from a woman throwing weak slaps at him. For a professional athlete who plays a goddamn contact sport for a living to feel he should be ok to hit a woman hard enough to put her on the floor shows not only a terrible lack of judgement but also a contemptible lack of decency.

You keep claiming you don't hate women, and you seem to hark back to a day when people acted in a more dignified manner. Were you also fine with the social norm of hitting women to keep them 'in their place'?

Do you agree that it's possible that he slapped her and she fell because she was very drunk?

                        • Why are you okay with a guy slapping a woman half his size? Some guy twice your size should slap you around and see if you like it.
                          John Brown did nothing wrong.

If I spit in his face that response should be expected.

                              • Kid may be the finest troll we've ever had on Apolyton. BK is certainly more blatantly offensive, but he's kind of one note. On the other hand, Kid has managed to transition smoothly from raving pinko commie to ignorant pseudo-existentialist Christian to MRA wife-beating apologist. And we've lapped it all up. Pretty masterful, really. Where do we think he'll go next?
