We've gone in 200 years from 90%+ of the population being involved in farming to something like 2%. People can still afford food. In fact, strangely enough, people can afford more food! We have an obesity epidemic! Does anyone really believe robots will do more to upend the economic status quo than fertilizers?
This has happened enough times that we already know how it will go: People will lose their jobs, someone will figure out what to do with all the newly unemployed people, and they will get new jobs making new products for people and life will be better for everyone. If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?
