    In Norway we have this guy, Ubaydullah Hussain, who in an hour long interview the other day proclaimed he and his organization, The Ummah of the Prophet, is in total agreement with ISIS's methods. He thinks beheadings are a good thing and hope for Sharia to be instated in Norway and democracy abolished. His organization is getting a lot of young followers these days. Norway alone has an estimated 50 warriors in ISIS, while the US has an estimated 70-100... Norway has 5 million inhabitants... Compare that to the US.

      Pope supports military intervention btw, it's good he cares for his fellow believers. Bishops in Norway is silent on the matter, while condemning the Gaza war any time they get the chance...

        considering that western military action created the space for ISIS to emerge, i wonder why people think that western military action can defeat them.

          Let me use your own term. We "created the space" for them. By removing others with our military action. We can remove others real good.

            So far the only massacre in recent norwegian history was from a right wing loonie. Hopefully it will be the last.

              TMM: i think you'll find that the west, principally the US, was aiming for them when it was the occupying power in iraq.

              the second part of your post is mere jingoism; you can't compare ISIS to saddam's regime.

                    yes defeated so thoroughly that they (under a different guise) now control large parts of iraq and syria!
