Entitlement spending in the US makes up the bulk of our spending. Just because Europe took it to a whole new level and completely got rid of their military does not mean we should. Any money saved by cutting the military will simply be spent on more entitlements. At the end of the day, elections are more about promising hand outs, and we are already probably past the threshold of those taking from the system outnumbering those contributing. The real discussion should be about disbanding NATO and no longer subsidizing the defense of worthless European trash.

Nobody starves or freezes to death in the US, with or without entitlements. Private charities pick up most of that kind of stuff anyway. Government run entitlement systems are inefficient and rife with fraud. Your argument is exactly what I expect from worthless Eurotrash: emotional and illogical. When you subsidize poverty you get more poverty. I really see no reason to continue to keep up this farce that is NATO. Let the Europeans fend for themselves.

Of course we completely got rid of our military, which is why the EU has the second highest military budget on the planet you dumb ****.Originally posted by DriXnaK View PostEntitlement spending in the US makes up the bulk of our spending. Well that explains a lot about you that you sit there and read that site for all your information on the US. Given the amount of homeless shelters available, it was probably their decision not to go to one. I read another story some years ago about a homeless man who refused to go to one and froze to death. I think it should also be noted that the grand total on there is 5. Of course this also brings up the previous point about you spending all your time reading and talking about the US when your own insignificant island could use some attention.

I like how you say there is no problem because other people are taking care of the problem.Originally posted by DriXnaK View PostNobody starves or freezes to death in the US, with or without entitlements. One of the people on the dole. You voted for Obama for your handout and you even admitted it. You always tried to say you were a conservative but the reality is you never were one, just like Imran.Originally posted by rah View PostUnfortunately there are people even more stupid allowed to vote.
If that is possible.

I'm going to grant you this ridiculous point for the sake of argument. A good many homeless people are mentally unwell and can have serious trouble with making rational decisions. Should we let them die because of that?Originally posted by DriXnaK View PostGiven the amount of homeless shelters available, it was probably their decision not to go to one.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

Maybe because it could be geared specifically toward the problem I mentioned?Originally posted by DriXnaK View PostIf there are already charities there to take care of them and they don't use them, why would a government run system which is going to be less effective and corrupt suddenly fix the problem?
