I got it already, but what country exactly? Surely, is not from Cuba for example.

There's two countries more left wing than argentina in Latin America ATM, Venezuela and Cuba. I wouldn't say they are pinnacles of progress.Originally posted by Serb View PostThen you have to realize that there are other countries besides Argentina, which belongs to the Latin America and opinion about and support to Liberation theology there might differ.
If you're trying to convince me that my country is a mess, you're 29 years too late. Incidentally, the far left (communists among them) and far right (catholics among them) have most of the blame.Originally posted by Serb View PostAnd as for your sarcasm, haven't you recently declared your second default in a decade recently?Indifference is Bliss

However, they don't default. And compared to Argentina have their own pro and cons.Originally posted by N35t0r View PostThere's two countries more left wing than argentina in Latin America ATM, Venezuela and Cuba. I wouldn't say they are pinnacles of progress.
Actually, it's news to me that Argentina is left-wing, esp. as you have rated it third among the lefties in Latin America. What about Bolivia? Is it fourth, then?
I was referring to your sarcasm about an Argentinian being superior and more free, compared to Cuban. If you're trying to convince me that my country is a mess, you're 29 years too late. Incidentally, the far left (communists among them) and far right (catholics among them) have most of the blame.

Venezuela has oil money, and cuba doesn't even have access to international credit AFAIK.Originally posted by Serb View PostHowever, they don't default.
However, Venezuela is currently rationing toilet paper, and it's government is currently studying measures to further ration other products. For a country with the largest proven oil and gas reserves in the world, that's pretty bad.
I'll leave the country where engineers work pumping gas for tourists for the dollar tips aside.
We're still (marginally) better. Despite our government's best efforts.Originally posted by Serb View PostAnd compared to Argentina have their own pro and cons.
That's a good question. Bolivia is pretty much a ****hole. It could rank third, I don't kow. They've been pretty quiet for a while.Originally posted by Serb View PostActually, it's news to me that Argentina is left-wing, esp. as you have rated it third among the lefties in Latin America. An argentinian? Superior? lol, I didn't say that.Originally posted by Serb View PostI was referring to your sarcasm about an Argentinian being superior and more free, compared to Cuban.
More free? Definitely. At least my country isn't censoring the internet.Indifference is Bliss

If you ignore 1982, 1990, 1997, 1998 and 2004, then Venezuela hasn't defaulted since the 19th Century.Originally posted by Serb View PostHowever, they don't default. And compared to Argentina have their own pro and cons.

Technically, yes.Originally posted by Serb View PostDo you have free healthcare and education in Argentina?
If done right? It couldn't. Over here, among the first things a family pays for after basic necessities are covered is private school for their kids.Originally posted by Serb View PostHow free education could be a brake for progress?
Yeah, I doubt it.Originally posted by Serb View PostNever mind, welcome to the club. Just join the BRICS and things will improve.
