In New Jersey it was being enforced with an unheated tent in a parking lot, in late October. Then they saw sense (i.e., a threatened lawsuit), and they let her go home.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

    • Apparently, there are a lot of people who live in her hometown who think like Ben. They want to block her entry.

        • They're not desperate at all. They have a nice stable of 20-30 classic storylines that have served them well for many decades. Quick update to the available technologies (fax machines! the Internet! smart phones!), mix with topical politics, sprinkle in the latest cast members, and Bob's your uncle.

Matt Smith was terrible as the Doctor BTW. Very disappointing. Peter Capaldi is a marked improvement.

            • Yeah, but a simple semicolon makes the story either much more or much less interesting, depending on POV: "Doctor Who tested positive for Ebola; took subway, went bowling in Brooklyn."

(never actually seen a single episode of Doctor Who, but have FB friends who never shut up about it)

EDIT/XPost: wait, is that blur on the screen something from the show?

It was a poorly edited title that I thought was amusing.

                • It'd be nice if the US would stop reacting to the Ebola outbreak as if they were in a The Onion article.

                  • Dr Who tested positive for ebola. Capaldi would look great bleeding blood from his eyes! It's not much of an imaginative leap.

Everything in our country results in an Onion-esque reaction.

We are a nature of pussies, and our media and politicians have figured out how to maximize their profits thanks to that.

                            This is embarassing.

Yeah, that should have been obvious. I was reading the article with half my brain, since I don't really care about BK wetting himself, and just assumed you were posting it for the headline's factual content, for whatever reason.
