When you get right down to it, the problem for me is that Israel is being attacked right now, and in such a way that the sources of the attack are identifiable. They aren't car bombs being assembled in some nondescript garage and then detonated far away, the rockets can be traced back to their points of origin, the tunnels mapped and collapsed, etc.

Certainly, but we are describing an urgent situation. Bombs are going off right then and there. Citizens have been killed or wounded, aircraft have been diverted, constant sirens grinding on the psyche of the populace, etc. Hardly the time for a pint with the blokes doing the shooting.
