Sex Offender Takes Girl From Seattle Park While Wearing Tracking Device
    Posted: Jun 06, 2014 3:04 PM CST Updated: Jun 06, 2014 3:04 PM CST

    SEATTLE, Wash. -

Police say a 6-year-old girl was pulled from a Seattle playground by a Level 3 sex offender who was wearing a tracking device on his ankle.

Police say the girl broke free three blocks away from the Benefit playground on Beacon Hill on Thursday evening and was not physically hurt.

The girl's father and friends caught up with the man and he fought with people as he tried to flee.

He was on the ground with three people beating him when officers arrived.

Witnesses say the girl had been playing with siblings when the suspect approached and asked her to leave with him. When she refused he grabbed her hand.

The 30-year-old suspect was jailed for investigation of kidnapping. Police say he was wearing a state GPS monitor.

Logically, I don't think vigilantism is a good thing.

But damn, it's hard to feel anything but pure justice about this case

    Glad that girl is safe!

I wonder if some pedo is going to one star this. DO IT
To us, it is the BEAST.

Why would they award levels to Sex Offenders? Do they have to grind Dognapping first before advancing to kidnapping?
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!

Heh. I wonder if the cops waited a bit before pulling the guys away from him.

A sex offender kidnaps a girl while wearing a GPS monitor. I can't think of any better evidence that this sex offender is sick and in need of treatment (preferably away from the rest of human society).

There's a fine line between "sick" and "abysmally stupid."

                We should treat that, too.

The tricky part is finding the exact point at which "that's your fault for being stupid" ends and "anything bad that happens to you is tragic because you're disabled" begins. Ideally everybody would carry around signs with their IQ and DSM-recognized difficulties, so the rest of us will know if it's okay to hate and/or laugh at them when they suffer.

It's nearly impossible for that point to be anything other than fuzzy. Oftentimes the best that can be done is to point out clear examples of the two cases and then relate a specific instance to your clear example. To me, this pedo's behavior looks an awful lot like a compulsion. A person with OCD knows that scrubbing their fingers to the bone is bad for them, but they can't help doing it. The sex offender above (because he's been caught and punished multiple times before and is being monitored now) knows that kidnapping children is bad for him, but he keeps doing it.

They rate sex offenders based on the severity of their crime. A 19 year old sleeping with his 17 year old girl friend would be a 1 and it goes up from there.

This happened a few years ago

Street justice sometimes gets it right, and sometimes gets it wrong. The case of 26-year-old Michael Zenquis is a disturbing reminder of what can happen when the police search for a child rapist fuels a potent intoxicant of street justice and an innocent victim is caught in its web.
It wasn't until then that he knew why he was being pummeled when someone yelled, 'You raped that little girl!.'

"I kept yelling, I'm innocent, I didn't do anything, I don't know what's going on," Zenquis said. "They were just calling me, 'Rapist! You deserve to die!' They were saying, 'Kill him, kill him!', and it was just too much."

Five days since the attack, Zenquis is still marred with the bruises left from the vicious and brutal attack, on his eye where he was hit with a stick, on his back where he was hit with a baseball bat, his left shoulder, and his left foot which was bandaged up tonight.

I'm sorry, is this an attempt to garner sympathy for him? Cause it ain't working.

He's a ****ing ******. Whether or not that's cause of some acronym doesn't matter a whit to me. Lock him up.
