Pot is also not alcohol. You could compare ten people who are stoned with ten drunk people... putting them through a driver's test on a closed course. The drunks won't be able to do it. The stoners will.

And if you compared the stoners with average sober drivers, I suspect reaction time (and overall control of the faculties) would still be within the norm.

Marijuana is different than alcohol. It affects the body in different ways. For people familiar with its affects, pot generally does not cause the kind of physical impairment as alcohol.

But as I said, standards exist for prosecuting DUI's/DWI's. So it's a non-issue... except for pot-shamers looking to stand up on their soap box and preach about thing they know absolutely nothing about. But how would this be any different from any other subject that gets discussed on these forums?

Also, calling everyone who smokes weed a "substance abuser"? Well onodera, go learn what the word "abuse" means... before promptly going to fuck yourself.

Dumbasses will always be dumbasses. Sadly, we can't change that.
I wouldn't grant driving licenses to regular drinkers either. I consider drinking alcohol substance abuse as well. So you can step down off your pot-defending soapbox and go read something. For example, some studies concerning the long-lasting effect of THC on reaction times.

sounds like you've got it allnothing figured out

If you want to test my reaction times, let's play a little Counter-Strike: Global Ops. We'll see who the slower person is.

That's funny... because I'm the one most compatible with reality in this discussion.

When you get communion, you ingest wine. Is that substance abuse?

When you get communion, you ingest human blood if you believe what they tell you. I don't believe them, so I don't get communion.

Cathedral is... suprise suprise, Zagrebacka Katedrala the official name is "Katedrala Uznesenja Blažene Djevice Marije i svetih Stjepana i Ladislava"... those last two are Hungarians no less, had to be rebuilt after an earthquake so is in current shape since 1906.
Well I "fell in love" with that cathedral.
I just went in and it was refreshing to see that despite it being beautiful and clear tourist attraction, it was filled just with ordinary people going there to pray.
I stayed a lot of time inside, calmed my soul

I read somewhere that it maintained its character to "human size", not that mega beast where you get lost and feel small. Great city

Getting back on subject, I don't know of any employer in this area that gives paid paternity leave, maternity leave is counted as vacation time. The Federal Medical Leave Act mandates allowing unpaid leave for as long as your doctor is willing to sign for. Frankly the FMLA is easy for an employer to bypass. There are loopholes which allow an employer to fire an employee on FMLA leave.

Over here there's one week of paid paternity leave, and three months of paid maternity leave (the latter should be 1.5 months before and 1.5 months after the (estimated) date of birth, but most women get their obstetricians to fake the date to get all the leave after the birth), more if doctor-mandated. Firing a pregnant woman, or one who has recently given birth is an invitation for a lawsuit.
