I really don't feel that strongly about it. It probably comes across that way on poly because everything is overwrought and exaggerated and trolled here. To tell the truth, I don't have any problem with transsexuals. I actually know a few and get along with them just fine. But I think that they are ill and have seen what surgery has done and failed to do to improve their lives. I am convinced that at some point we will look back on gender reassignment surgery the same way we look back on frontal lobotomies. Maybe for 1 in 1000 it was the appropriate treatment.
