          No, I haven't. I think you have to buy some special cartridge to do it, or even modify your 3ds somehow. But I don't know for sure.

            I didn't specify, but I was referring more to SNES and NES roms. I'll look around for more information about that. I just spent a lot of time organizing my NES roms.


            Can I transfer over stuff from my Wii? Purchases on the virtual console, for instance.

              Not to the 3DS, I think. But I'm pretty sure you can transfer them to the Wii U from the Wii.

                You know, if Nintendo was smart, they would have made the Wii U Gamepad be able to play 3DS games. The console would have sold far more, I'm convinced.

                    Agree.

                    It seems odd to have two handheld devices like that. I know the Wii U is a different system and not just the gamepad. But still, if you combined the two and had it play all past nintendo titles (in whatever way)... in addition to being able to function as a streaming device...

                    Well ****... you've got the best thing on the market.

                    sure as hell better than Xbone and PS4

                    Personally, I think Nintendo needs to be a little smarter with their strategic planning.
