What everyone other than DD said (yes, I realize there is an disagreement between Felch and Sava on premeditation, but premeditation has never really required a full planned out killing - stopping to think about what you are doing and then killing the person tends to be good enough).
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

How so(In regards to moving the bodies off the carpet)? The moment of fear had passed, seems very practical.

The only issue here is the number of gun shots and when. The first dude is completely justified. What I don't find believable is that those shots didn't warn her off, and then there are more shots after he shot her the first time as I read it. One the intruders are incapacitated there is no longer justification for deadly force, double taps are for the movies.

As for the comments after its normal to feel elation after avoiding what you believe is a life or death situation not to mention the adrenaline rush of the situation itself. Introspection comes later.

If you don't want to get shot, don't be a burglar.

No surprise that DD and Patty-thumb-butt are psychopaths.

This is clearly murder (debatable as to what degree). However, as soon as he was no longer in danger, he should have called the police and an ambulance.

            That doesn't justify murder.

I'm actually thinking that DD may be a secret liberal trying to discredit the conservative viewpoint through hyperbole and logical inconsisten...wait those are the primary characteristics of any conservative's arguments.

Sometimes trolling in the mix ruins an interesting topic, but this time, I prefer to believe no one's that stupid.

If you send people to jail for shooting home invaders... then lethal force can no longer deter home invasions.

Lethal force is hardly a deterrent to home invasions as it is and was clearly unnecessary in this case.

It was very necessary. They had already trespassed and stole his belongings on multiple occasions. I hope this sends a clear message to lawless criminals.

You're arguing for vigilante justice now.
