You know, aside from that I'm openly trolling, I'm interested in not only the repulsion reactions to Ms. Lukyanova, but the over-the-top hostility directed at people over differences in a matter of subjective tastes. Also witness Ben calling me a homo for finding Kate Upton, as Sava has put it "overrated".

(Protip: you yardapes ain't got enough evidence to go on to draw any broad conclusions about my rather diverse taste in women.)

Why is it -serious question here- that when we hate something, we tend to hate the FANS of the thing? I've been very guilty of this myself, being an OG Trekker who never cared for imitation Star Trek. These days, I try very hard to reserve my opprobrium for the likes of Rick Berman and J.J. Abrams, who definitely deserve it, not their dupes - but it ain't easy.
