I was in Junior school with a Scots girl named Gail, or was it Gale ? Then many years later I worked with an Australian woman named Gayle.

I've never worked with a high winded Jamaican though, nor Cy Clowen.

Does Australia work like the US in that years spent overseas count extra toward retirement credits? If so, you should be on the accelerated track for a full pension. Congratulations and stay safe.

Not exactly the same but yes there are extra benefits, including for pension level.
