    • As a libertarian, I believe people should be allowed to do whatever they want as long as they don't infringe on the rights of others.

As someone who hasn't smoked weed in over a day, I'm inclined to take all the anti-vaccine imbeciles, tar them, feather them, disembowel them, and hang them with their own entrails.

I like you. Specifically, your jib. I appreciate the cut of it.

Guynemer, this is a bit of a special case, as is everything that involves children. There's a unique agency problem. Children can't make their own decisions, and while parents are usually pretty good about making decisions that are good for their children, there are many exceptions, and in many cases it makes sense for the government to come in and say "no, you can't do that", such as, "no, you can't keep your kid from going to school" and "no, you can't prevent your kid from being vaccinated against horribly disfiguring and dangerous yet highly preventable illnesses".

You really don't need to constantly reaffirm your idiocy to us. We get it. You are stupid.

If you're just catching on that I have a problem, then you haven't been paying much attention.

At least until someone comes along and says they think vaccines violate God's will.

You're happy to let people make decisions for themselves while knowing they're too stupid to make decisions for their children?

It's perfectly consistent. The question is why is it reasonable to think stupid people deserve to get themselves killed?

                          • I suppose evolution doesn't work if we save children from the idiocy of their parents. Let the kids go unvaccinated.
