I would say I want to understand why you interpreted my statement as "If only we could make the remaining 39% who don't approve of Obama into Bible-thumping rednecks in Oklahoma" as if becoming a Bible-thumping redneck would make someone more likely to approve of Obama's job performance, and why you rejected the interpretation that people who still approve of Obama aren't Bible-thumping rednecks like you and don't share your worldview. However, I'm afraid that the only way I could possibly follow the tortuous twists of logic it took for you to interpret my statement the way you did, and attempt to ridicule me for a perceived failure in basic arithmetic, is if my brain were utterly disfigured to the point of insanity.
