These guys aren't that rich. The father was "running out of money" after spending 90k on the son's rehab facility, and they get their money from a small business that does ~15MM USD turnover a year. I add these facts up to say that they're probably pulling in 300k a year or so, and spending most of what they make.

Heh. I'd assumed they were richer based on the ridiculous defense at the son's trial for killing those people.

i wish the judge had the option to send the mother to jail for 10 years - but in court look at the 18 year old and say, unless you want to do the 10 years. i wonder what he would say.

Apparently, in Texas, the most he can get for this parole violation is 4 months.

Actually, what I read is, that they want him to serve only 4 months, not because this is the maximum he would get,
but because they want to bring the case to court again, in order to sentence him according to the adult criminal law ...
which would probably result in a much longer jail term than the 10 years he might have to serve now (and for which he was treated according to the youth criminal law)
