      QFMFT. That is some nasty-ass stuff, (any 'food' made by a company called Unilever can't be good) but I stand by my point of mayo as a defense against bun sogification. Granted, given my use of Unilever as source data, I may as well have argued that caulking is a good moisture barrier for burgers.

        Just saran-wrap the burger (or the bun) if you're that worried.

        I generally eat burgers with chilli or other really messy stuff, so mayonnaise isn't that much help in that regard . I just know that, once I pick it up, there's no putting it down again.
