Anywho, the point of NaNoWriMo, for me, is to practice a very specific writing skill: the skill of conquering the white page. (I practice other writing skills in other months.)
Edit: Additionally, plenty of writers will tell you that writing novels and writing short stories are very different skills. Some will even tell you that writing a short story is harder than writing a novel. So one is not necessarily a substitute for another, unless all you're trying to do is learn how to write good prose.Last edited by Lorizael; November 22, 2013, 15:30.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

Every cop should wear a camera. The evidence can help put guilty people away. It can also help protect people from being abused. Legal processes have extreme consequences for anyone involved. A routine traffic stop can end with a cop shot... or an innocent person shot. With stakes like that, it's important that any encounter with law enforcement be recorded.
The details can be worked out. Protocols can be established. Doing so being a "hassle" isn't an excuse. This is life and death. No amount of effort is too much.
Anyone who thinks otherwise shouldn't be a police officer.
Or in the case of civilian objections, anyone who thinks otherwise shouldn't be part of the discussion. To us, it is the BEAST.
