It's not really democracy if one side gets to play by different rules....the entire point of the system is that it is neutral to all viewpoints and the populace decides what is correct.

            Neutral.

I can't tell. I mean honestly. You are an absolutely retarded individual with varying levels of coherency.

Its long been thought that since SCOTUS deemed this a Tax then use of the reconcilaition process could undo ACA. Thus 51 votes in senate, majority in house and presidential signature are all that were ever needed. This latest move by the Dems would have no bearing on that process.

Where it does have meaning is even though Reid plans on this sunsetting and not to apply to SCOTUS nominees, it has now set the precedent that the GOP has vowed to return in favor if given the chance particularly when Ginsberg finally leaves.

Please explain the Ginsberg bit. Are you saying the GOP intend to just obstruct whatever nominee Obama puts forward if Ginsberg steps down or dies before '16, without even knowing who that nominee will be?

                    • It isn't like SCOTUS nominees have been filibustered much in the past. I mean Roberts and Alito basically sailed through (while Meyers [sp?] was rejected by both sides, so wasn't really filibustered).

There's no way Ginsberg is going to last until 2024.

He means you'd better hope Hillary wins because the GOP now has precedent to strip the Dems of the ability to oppose SCOTUS nominees and legislation.

By which you mean they don't have precedent, because the Dems have specifically not done that?
