Haven't heard anything yet. Brave New World only came out in the summer though.

Interesting quote from a Firaxis guy back in April..

"If there ever was going to be a Civ 6 it’s because somebody came up with a great concept that says ‘this is why we need to make Civ 6, because this is awesome’. It’s not something we just have to schedule around and ask ‘what are we going to put in here?’. It’s got to be the idea first."

I just noticed that your posts were as usual like a regurgitated dull lecture on economics and I prefer the who made what, where and why school of history.
Yeah, who cares about economics when discussing the reasons why some countries have a higher GDP per capita than others?

          • and without archers being able to shoot thousands of miles, that **** is retarded. Go back to Civ IV combat with stacks of doom but make it so you can use opponents' roads.

            • Yeah. And I don't understand how archers shoot twice as far as ****ing gatling guns

Depends. They have other irons in the fire with X-Com and suchlike. There'll be a civ sequel eventually of course, but maybe they just don't want to risk devaluing the franchise by just churning out the same game.

The who made what, where and why meal usually includes a starter of economics and a side dish of the history of fortification, with a chaser on naval development and map making.

XCOM was just published, it's just bugfixes they have to deal with now.

The first big expansion was just published. I doubt that's the end of their DLC strategy.
