HC consistently makes outrageous hyperbolic statements. Not only that, but when called on them he very rarely will back up from the absurd position he's taken.

Assuming he was ingenuous about his statements about Norway and the lack of input land has into wealth is warranted, especially since he hasn't yet backed down from them.

I will of course accept his clarification if he wants to admit his initial statements were wildly wrong. But so far all he wants to do is make similar statements to further cement his position as absurd.

That's not too far off the mark, considering a 100 level course is all the formal (i.e. not self taught) education in econ that I've got, and none of the statements I have made exceed the understanding one gets from such courses. That said, you guys are ignoramuses.
