I used to think climate change was propaganda...
Not anymore. Anyone who looks at the original research coming out now would be a fool to suggest that it isn't real. Rush a moron? Perhaps. Rush a Fool? Without a doubt when it comes to climate change.
Clearly the increase in sea water temperatures provides a more condusive environment for these storms. Whether it had any effect on this storm will have to wait on the analysis, but to dismiss it is just dumb."I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration." - Hillary Clinton, 2003

But whether or not we should blame the deaths on the world being above 400ppm in CO2 really isn't the issue. That's a point I would agree with.
Banning fossil fuels today won't stop a powerful storm next week or next decade. The damage is done. This is hundreds of years of human activity affecting climate.
But I understand you and reg are highly partisan and see everything through a right wing political lens. If someone not of your party says something, you must have a vitriolic response. I understand.
My hope is that eventually you'll start to think for yourself and move past all of that.To us, it is the BEAST.

It wouldn't stop powerful storms at all, we have always had them and this isn't even the worst recorded. The question is whether it causes less or more not whether they will happen. Like I said the Atlantic was deathly quiet, and it has just as much extra energy as the Pacific."The DPRK is still in a state of war with the U.S. It's called a black out." - Che explaining why orbital nightime pictures of NK show few lights. Seriously.
