I mean, I love lead based paint and mercury filled soil. It's awful that the government doesn't allow me the choice.To us, it is the BEAST.

Okay so the water supply is actually a big bottleneck in fracking. Which confirms my concern that you'd need a really big pipeline to transport it and it wouldn't be cost effective.
It also says that salty water can be used, although it doesn't say what the salinity is; it could very well be much less saline than seawater.
