Yeah, it seems that huge post 9/11 spike of willingness to fight alongside America went down the ****pan after a decade of quagmire in Bush's wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

    • The home run was due to 1. the UK pulling the rug out and 2. "idiot" John Kerry talking "off the cuff" and giving Putin an opening.
Irrelevant. The pitcher hung a slider and it got jacked. Don't be partisan and get butthurt over it.

Absolutely. Marvelous entertainment. Comedy gold like "Being There" and everyone rushing to say how marvelously deep, thoughtful, and insanely genius Chauncey Gardner is.

Meanwhile Putin is about to rub the US nose in it by pulling a Lucy with a football and not having any definitive verification of removal of chemcial weapons. In other words Putin has declared that Russia's position is that the fake initiative to permit Obama to save political face will not have any real teeth thus ensuring the world at large understand how little credibility the US has.

Congratulations on leadership finding new and ever bolder ways for surrendering our testicles.

        • You need to pick a lane. Either Obama is a war monger for considering a military strike or he has "surrendered our testicles".

Or don't and just continue to be a moron. Actually, do that so I can keep making fun of you. I wouldn't want to have to take you seriously.

          • I don't have to do anything of the sort other than sit back and enjoy the comedy. The general ineptitude is worth taking note of, all of which is self inflicted.

In general this adminstration is extremely mock worthy as are any who attempt its defense.

Pretty much every talking head on TV, Democrat and Republican, is considering this outcome a victory. The discussion on CNN has turned into "Should Obama get credit for this?".

So the joke is on you, I guess.

              But whatever. Carry on.

Hence my reference to "Being there". Also see my post #110, where I state it is likely the best possible outcome for a self inflicted problem (long before the contemptible talking heads decided to award Obama his next Nobel Peace prize) and as a longer term consequence provides Russia a perfect opportunity to be the defacto power in the middle east.

Russia is just an arms dealer. They have very little power in the region.

I guess this is one of those jokes that only retarded homeless nutjobs can get.

                    You guys are awesome.

                      • BTW Putin now not going to bring the measure to the UN unless he gets Obama to pledge no military action.

While not helping a single Syrian either. I figured you would be opposed to a foreign policy that maximizes participation for both sides while ensuring a stalemate and maximum body count. We win?

Also sava seems to apply an absurd line-towing caricature to every conservative he meets, as if there's no individual difference of opinion, just Team A and Team B.

No-one wins, especially the Syrians. I was, and remain in favour of intervention to topple the Assad regime.
