People are usually proud of things that they have or can do that most other people are unable to have or do. Most people in the world are heterosexual. Like most people in the world can walk and breathe at the same time.

I have a big shlong but don't brag or put it out there for the world to see.

Some things in life should be discreet. Making a strong effort for the world notice your sexual orientation is not one of them.

So to return to the issue at hand, it has been noted in some quarters that there appears to be a misogynist streak in a significant number of gay men. It is possible that this is transferred onto their lesbian sisters, intentionally or not. Of course, that doesn't explain the freezing out of bis and trans.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that 70%+ of bisexuals, male or female, primarily or perhaps exclusively have sex with men. This is based purely on anecdotal evidence and not on any kind of rigorous data.
