        Yeah, it's called a baseball.

Exactly - Americans would love cricket, they just don't give it a chance.

Ah, but you didn't address the wicket issue. We already have something with all the features you listed, plus the occasional brawl. There's no need for a second boring stat-filled game that is the same thing but with wickets.

There's a lot of unseemly canadian influences up near the border.

Jerry Seinfeld taught me all I know about cricket:

                  " Wicked googly!"

                  ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

Baseball has nothing like the tactical complexity of cricket. It's like comparing Snakes & Ladders with chess.

Agar might have produced a good innings as a batsman, but he's looking really out of his depth as a bowler.

Agar's bowling in the series so far-

                            80.5 overs
                            16 maidens
                            239 runs
                            2 wickets

A strike rate of 119.5 over 80 overs.

Well, that was emphatic. A 347 run victory. Let's see if they can bounce back for the next match.

I still think we should be playing five bowlers, even if Joe Root got a couple of wickets today.

A comparison of the two spinners, from the BBC-

While Agar has taken a wicket every 252 balls, at an average of 124, Swann has struck every 50 for 22.
