Who cares? America had a young man needlessly killed on his way back from buying candy, and because of his skin colour and his mannerisms decided that he was an ******* who deserved to die. For months the tv, news and internet (including this site) and been full of people calling Martin every name under the sun, because he had a few minor charges on his record and because he talked ghetto. Those things were enough to make a lot of people decide he didn't deserve to live any more. Well fair enough, if we're going to start handing out death sentences because teenagers leave stupid crap on their social media pages and get into trouble now and again, then there's going to be a lot of free space in high schools.Originally posted by KrazyHorse View PostDo you think that such ridiculous statements do anything to advance your point of view?
I don't personally believe it, but maybe in this case Zimmerman did absolutely nothing wrong. Maybe he genuinely thought he was going to die and just protected himself from an unprovoked attack. The take away from this case though isn't the actual verdict, it's that once again America has lifted the veil and revealed itself to be a deeply racially divided nation with some extremely dark elements.

I guess this answers the question I had. Is stupidity that results in the death of another illegal? The answer seems to be no.I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara

Maybe Zimmerman should not have stalked/followed Trayvon Martin if Zimmerman had felt "threatened."Originally posted by KrazyHorse View PostGenerally self- defense is an affirmative defense, meaning that the burden of proof is usually on the defendant. A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

The point here seems to have been that only 2 people can say for sure who started the fight. One of them ain't talking and we lack the evidence to prove the other guy's guilt. The real injustice here is that given Zimmerman's widely acknowledged lack of judgement, he's likely going to continue to have a CCW permit.Originally posted by The Mad Monk View PostYou mean like the witnesses who had Martin on top of Zimmerman?I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara
