Well, just great thanks. I live a few doors along from an Islamic Centre/mosque, and the people attending are extremely polite and well-behaved.

This is my local market :

My nearest regularly used corner shops/mimi-supermarkets are run by Turks from Germany and Hindu Asians from Mombasa. I can buy Jamaican, Byelorussian, Polish and Lithuanian bread, Rumanian cakes, Turkish yoghurts and cheeses, German jams, halva, paneer...

How's being an ignoramus for you ?

Racist and idiotic bigots exist everywhere.

Congratulations, you have found your herd if you ever want to move to the UK.

Again, this my be news to you, but people in the U.K. are allowed to hold and express different views on the same subject. That I may not agree with a random assortment of people you've selected should hardly come as a surprise.

I somehow doubt that you and Angela Davis have the same opinions about the state of the U.S., for instance....

Your way of thinking, I can understand how Britannia is so fvcked up.
People like you and your attitude made London the ****hole it is today.
              Damn, what a shame.

In what sense ? They happen to be British citizens with different views or politics from mine ? Amazing. Which of course says nothing about whether or not London is a multicultural city (it is, and always has been) and whether or not I'm lying about why I like living here.

Given that I see no reason to lie to someone like you, I'm not sure why you'd doubt me.... unless of course it's to do with your own views on race. Or you could be lying.

There speaks the expert who knows so much about London. From watching Youtube, not actually having lived or visited here.

From the very link you posted.

And what I said, which you for some reason found hard to believe :

I believe there's a quaint American expression: Not got the sense to pour piss out of a boot.

Not your family motto by any chance is it ?
(carry over from the other thread)

I have no doubts that London has a multicultural mix of people. I don't dispute the history.
I called you out on this statement you made.
London happens to be a great multicultural city- one of the reasons I enjoy living here.
You make it sound as if multicultural city as London has no problems with it's mixed population.
My guess would be that you're a muslime or not of white British ancestry. (Only explanation I can think of as to why you enjoy living there.)

                    What you know about London:

                    zip.

You make it sound as if multicultural city as London has no problems with it's mixed population.
I haven't done anything of the sort. I've mentioned why I like living and working here.

                    MY experience.

I can hardly speak for someone else's. Every big city has problems. You're simply making too much of one isolated incident. Again, one of the men who committed the attack was born in the U.K. to a family which was Christian. He doesn't speak or act for all British citizens born of Nigerian parents or black parents, and he doesn't speak or act for all Muslims.

My guess .....or not of white British ancestry.
You'd guess wrong then. If I were any whiter, I'd be an albino. And yes, I'm British, thanks.

                    you're a muslime

I believe London already had a sizeable black population in the 19th century.

As long as they can get something other than English food, multiculturalism is working out just fine for the English.
