I like the side and back of this vehicle, but not so much the front end.

Front end is indeed very polarizing. I love it and suspect it'll grow on a lot of people as they see more of them (and it's making its way across all Lexus vehicles now so it'll be a bit more common).

But personally, I don't get excited about cars anymore. It was a phase... and I grew out of it. Cars are a pretty indefensible purchase. It's money down the toilet. And 5-10 years later, you either have nothing to show for it... or are stuck driving a 5-10 year old car.

No vehicle holds their value as well as, or is as reliable as a Lexus. I keep my cars ten years.
I did test drive the 2014 Accord (Sedan & Coupe), and it's just not my cup of tea.
50 grand isn't a lot of money, especially if keeping a car ten years.
The RAV4 was 40 grand, and I don't like it NEARLY as much. Similar story for the Accord - I could save 15K by getting an Accord, sure. But it's just boring. In every way. It's a practical car, to be sure, but it's not fun. I like fun.
