              What do you drive? a 335i? What year?

              The 3-series has **** resale value (relative to Lexus), **** reliability, a fun engine while it's under warranty, and one cheap-ass interior.

              IIRC Consumer Reports just put BMW's latest offerings in the worst possible category for reliability, dead last amongst their competition. Usually you rave about CR...

                      AWD would have a practical advatidage over me. I'm lucky in that I live in a place where traction is not an issue but I could see traction being an advantage in a place like Calgary.

                        BTW I know someone who ran extremely fast with an EVO today. We're talking wickedly fast. I don't race against EVOs. They go fast though.

                          Yeah, sometimes here in pittsburgh I kind of wish I had one of those four wheel drive subaru sedans when the roads become a slip n slide. Then I remember I'll be gone after next year and never coming back, and in Virginia you don't need it.

                              It's a good choice as long as he likes it. I personally think it looks a little silly. I wouldn't get it even if it cost the same as my accord.

                                That's because you know nothing about what makes a good car.

                                By all means, that Accord you have would make any soccer mom proud.

                                Go test drive an IS 350 (or 335i) then drive home in your Accord. Then you'll see.
