**** the Eurozone. I wouldn't touch it with a pole. Free trade agreement I can get behind, however.

Canada kicks America's ass when it comes to smart economic policies.

You realize eurozone = all countries that use the euro as a currency, right?
Why would you then what to inflict such suffering on most of the developed world. The euro seems to be a particularly bad idea made worse by the total incompetence (or plain evilness) of the European Central Bank.
Thanks to the ECB the popularity of the EU is at an all time low. Also there are a lot of parties in various countries gaining support with a platform for leaving the euro as a currency.

Free trade is goof though. (but one currency is not a prerequisite)

There's plenty to complain about the European Commission's byzantine ways, but they typically aren't in the business of doing things nilly-willy.
Yes, I've read that one. The EU is claiming this is in retaliation for the Byrd amendment, just like the 2005 tariff, but given that the Byrd amendment no longer exists there simply is no justification for it. Please show one if one exists. That they enacted this new tripling of tariffs 1.25 years after the Byrd amendment was repealed is pretty telling that the Byrd amendment isn't the reason for it.

Paying over 100 bucks for a pair of jeans is moronic. Making useless **** and then complaining about a tariff on said useless ****, is laughable.

                ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

I don't have a pair of jeans that cost more than $20.

Actually I have a couple pairs of Carhartts I think I got for $40? They're fleece lined though.

Misleading headline. Should read "European protectionism driving Mexicans out of work"

It's a factory in California for chrissakes
To us, it is the BEAST.
