Benghazi Will Screw Obama, Which He Deserves

    Two things:

    1.) It was not a mistake Obama made...it was a calculated decision that he made to enhance his election chances. The redacted talking points of Friday evening along with the Saturday morning Oval office meeting tell that story quite clearly now that we know of them. Obama knew...and he instituted a cover up.

    2.) The American people do not care when popular democratic Presidents lie (even if under oath, which Obama was not). This will cause a big stir with conservatives, but will not have an affect on Obama's term in office or the confidence he enjoys from his base.

      Technically they don't really care when popular Republican Presidents lie either (see Reagan with Iran-Contra).

            Oh for f*ck's sake. The worse thing that you can say about Benghazi is that somebody not in the White House screwed up, and then Executive Branch flacks lied to the media. Feel free to check on your own, but if you're too lazy you can take it from me: lying to the media is not an impeachable offense. It's idiotic and borderline obscene to suggest that this compares with obstruction of justice (Watergate), selling arms to an embargoed country in order to fund terrorists in another country in direct defiance of U.S. law (Iran-Contra), or disseminating false intelligence to justify a war that will kill thousands of American troops and tens of thousands of civilians (Iraq II: Electric Bugaloo). Seriously, didn't the awesome predictive powers of Fox and talk radio during the 2012 election teach you anything? Why are you still listening to them?
